We had another great district meeting. Gotta love Elder Cheng and his efforts in putting together really good formations. I always learn so much from them. We also had the privilege of having the STLs and ZLs attend as well. The reason for that was we were going to have a little finding day, just about 2 hours in Calais. I was on splits with Soeur Nielsen again and boy do I love her to death. She always knows exactly what I need all the time. She saves, teaches and comforts me. I've been so blessed to be able to know her and serve with her. She is now going to reopen the Soeurs in Caen and train. I'm excited for her. She'll do so well.
As for me and my darling, absolutely wonderful, blue daughter (hehe), we will stay in the beginning stages of springtime in Calais. I love this gospel with all my heart. I thank God every day for the things I am able to experience and learn. I also thank Him for all the people I have had the privilege of meeting. I love them all so much and they have impacted my life forever. I love that I have memories with them that I can keep for as long as I’m alive.
Sunday I was able to translate for one of our older amis who isn't really an ami anymore, but we were still happy to have him at church. It was pretty difficult, I now understand how translators feel. It's not easy, I barely can understand, but I did alright haha. Language is coming slowly but surely.
I hope you all have a great week and have fun. Make some more memories and please keep your heart centered on this wonderful gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayers and words of encouragement, they're always welcome in my book ;)
Love, Soeur Hunt
